Altera Apartments

Altera is an attainable housing program that Wood Partners developed to provide a more affordable housing offering in several markets along the east coast. Axiom Architecture partnered with Wood Partners starting in 2023 to design a prototype set of apartment buildings as well as a standalone clubhouse that could be reproduced in various locations.

The development teams are able to select from multiple building types including 3-story walk-up garden style buildings, 3 and 4-story split-level buildings, carriage buildings with apartments over private garages, and 4-story buildings with conditioned corridors and elevator service. All variations are Type VA wood-framed construction.

Our team has worked on numerous successful projects to date. Altera projects are located in various states along the east coast, from Massachusetts to Florida, and as far west as Nashville, Tennessee.
